About The Open Network

What is The Open Network?

The OPEN NETWORK Group, Inc. is an opportunity for local  businesspeople to establish working relationships, promote their businesses and support each other in a casual environment.

Who can attend the meetings?

Anyone!  (The OPEN NETWORK Group, Inc., reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone at its sole discretion.) We meet every Thursday at Broccolini's, 6525 Superior Ave. for lunch. The cost is $10.00 for the meeting and lunch is provided. You don't even have to reserve a seat, just show up.  We have no dues, contracts or required attendance.

Do I have to bring leads for other businesses?

No, this is not a leads group. However, we are a group that has strong internal loyalties and we do business with each other and give referrals. But no one is keeping track.

Is there only one representative of each type of business allowed?

No, we are not non-compete. We feel each business offers unique strengths and there is plenty of opportunity for all. Check out the directory to see how diverse we are.

How many people attend the meetings?

We have about 25-40 people attend each week. Of that about, 20 are regulars, 15 are people who come when they can and there are always a few new faces. In all, we have about 100 people we consider "participants".

Do people who represent businesses from Bradenton and Venice attend the meetings?

Yes, they do. We also have Open Network Venice on Wednesdays and Open Network Bradenton on Tuesdays. See the News and Events Page for more information.
